Hire-A-Librarian offers three basic sets of services: research assistance, tech training, and tutoring.

Research assistance
Got a problem but you just don't know where to find the answer? This is something that librarians help patrons with every day. The benefit of Hire-A-Librarian is that you don't have to stand in line to ask...and you can ask all the questions you want! The Librarian will conduct a 5-10 minute "interview" to get all the facts straight and then will do the digging for you and then put it all together in a well-organized .PDF file for you, even providing a summary so you know just how it was done! Fees based on complexity of research topic!

Tech training
There are a bazillion different devices, systems, programs, gadgets and whatsits these days, who has time to learn them all? Cut through the hassle and schedule an appointment with The Librarian. The Librarian will come to your home and conduct a 30-, 60-, or 90-minute training session so you can master your new tech toys! Areas of particular expertise include smart phones (Android and OS models), e-readers, laptops and tablets, and training on e-mail and word processing.

Tutoring
Librarians are the best tutors--organized, patient, and detail oriented. Whether you or your child need help with writing or history, math or science, Hire-A-Librarian brings the knowledge of a librarian and the skill of an educator to the table. 30-, 60-, or 90-minute tutoring sessions are available for flexible hours throughout the week. Tutoring available for all levels of education and all ages!

Fees
All services are charged on a hourly basis. Hire-A-Librarian offers 10% discounts for military families, students, and senior citizens.

30-minutes: 15.00
60-minutes: 25.00
90-minutes: 35.00
